Default Flywheel?

Hi All,

Started to have a rattle when I depress the clutch pedal which disappears when I lift off the pedal. Is this the flywheel? had it go on my old Vectra and this seems pretty similar.

how long are people going before they get the flywheel changed?

Thanks in advance,

That is probably the springs flopping about inside the flywheel.

It will get louder and more noticeable over time. Bite the bullet and get it done, or do it yourself of course. If you start to feel a vibration, get it changed immediately.

Does it shudder when the engine shuts down?
