Front discs

Has anyone changed the front brake discs?

I've changed discs and pads on all my previous cars and I'm assuming it's a similarly easy task. Is there anything I need to watch out for?

well never actually done this but looking in the Haynes manual it looks pretty straight forward...

if you havnt got the manual let me know and i'll mail the pages to you.

Changed the front discs recently on my S40, no problems. Just make sure the discs fit evenly against the hub and do not run "out of true"

what are you replacing the disks and pads with, genuine volvo or something else ???

Haven't actually bought the discs/pads as yet. Was going to get them from Euro Car Parts. Have bought from them before and never had any quality problems. I know my local garage (non-Volvo actually an Alfa speciallist) uses them. Like always will check Volvo OE prices.
