Peter installed the RES for me at the weekend and I am extremely pleased with the results. I will put up some pics of the install later today but if you are considering getting Peter to do it then I would recommend him wholeheartedly. He will arrange to swap your headrests with a spare pair he has and will install the screens prior to coming to you. He then spends considerable time and effort sorting out the wiring and putting in the DVD player. He is a bit of a perfectionist and is happy to talk through any of the stuff he can do without applying any sales pressure. He will even tell you to try a different option from somewhere else if it works out better for you. I felt totally at ease letting him work on a 2 day old car.
So if you are undecided on this option and are equally undecided whether to let someone you don't really know work on your car give Peter a go. And to top it off he is a really nice bloke too - just refill his coffee cup as required and you'll be fine . I'll certainly be looking at using his services again. LL |

Hi,
Was wondering about replacing the headrests with off-the shelf units. Can you comment on the feasibility (e.g. if this messes up the whiplashprotection system)? Also I would like to know the price for two headrests + info on the headphones (infrared? FM?). Do you need the old headrests? Swap o beforehand? I'm in Holland, so that's not very practical, especially the sending up-front... I have a headunit with dual zone output, so I wouldn't need a source. Thanks. |

Hi,
One of the TV's in my headrests is not working properly... The picture keeps flickering on and off. I'd guess that the LCD screen's backlight has a loose or dry connection... I've tried googling the name on the TV (SAMISEN) to find a replacement, but can't seem to find anything. Could you advise where I could find a replacement for this please? |
