Default V70 Tyre ratings

Just about to replace the Goodyear Eagle tyres on my V70 D5 2003 and noticed that some are marked 91Y and one is marked 94W both have different weight capacities - Do I need the extra load carrying of the 94W tyre or are 91Y's ok?
Cheers

I think 87 are the min recommended for V70 so anything higher isn't a problem

This will help

It all depends on the top speed of the car, Chris's link will explain all!

Have a look in your manual (or sometimes the table on the inside of the fuel filler flap). Should tell you the correct ratings for your car. I expect the 1 off 94W was because that's all that was in stock at the time.

It's the load rating I am concerned about - 91 or 94, the speed does not bother me as I am not likely to evey get anywhere near the speed rating of the tyre.

Hi 91 will be fine for your car 99% of v70's run them and thats what volvo put on them from the factory.
