Default "clunk" in steering when take off

Good evening,

I have a V70 t5 and i "feel" a noise like "clunk" in steering wheel every time a put the first gear and go. It' s not a noise when the wheels are turn to right or left, it's all most every time. But only when I start to move.
I have 17" wheels with dunlop in front and michelin at rear (very bad choice), but I don't have the chance (money) to buy new ones.
Please help me because I recently change the steering rods and the bushers on left and right control arms and both deflection limiters (people in volvo put 16" and forget to change to 17" wheels) because they make a "metalic" noise.

Thanks

HG

Driveshaft bolts ,drop links could be the issue..the bolts can be sorted by fitting XC90 bolts and applying a small amount of loctite..

This was a problem on the early S80 never the V 70 it was slight play in the lower steering column sliding joint from new so not wear , there is a special grease you coat it with after sliding the telescopic part out ...

Had the same with my V70, tightend up the drive shaft bolts... quite as new! These are found behind the Volvo cap on the alloy

From your description I'd go with Clan's suggestion first.
There is a Technical Journal for this fix that dealers should know about. I think it is 64-09.
I'm pretty sure the V70 may have been affected as my old 2001 S60 had the same problem and this fix solved it.
