Chatelherault Classic Car Rally - 19th August 2007
Chatelherault Country Park, Hamilton

I am in the process of planning a club display at this event, which has been very succesful in previous years. I intend to have a Gazebo and varied display of Volvo's in order to promote the club.

A must for all motoring enthusiasts and fun for all the family. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a dazzling display of vintage cars, lorries, bikes and lots more. Family fun events, motoring stalls, displays, food and entertainment with activities for the kids and the whole family.

If you are interested in attending this event, please let me know as soon as possible, so I can get space allocated. Further details will follow in due course, with regards to times etc.

I have been allocated space for 10-15 cars, and need to have names by the deadline of FRIDAY 13TH JULY.

Once again, this is a family day out, with an exciting programme of activities, including a barnstoming aerobatic flying display, local radio show and a full spectrum of fun and entertainmet for children. This year there will be a display of over 500 classic cars, motorbikes and modified vehicles.

Our display will be in the main arena, so I am looking for as many diffrent models as possible. Entry is free and a commemorative plaque will be issued on the day

This is the first year we have been invited and I'm looking to make this an anual event. If you require any further information, please PM or email me.

I'll match that, just give me an address to send it to and I'll shove it in the post. It would be great for future events as well, couple of wee logos maybe.

Thanks for the very kind offer guy's, it's much appreciated.

The intention is to get a large PVC display banner made up proffesionally, with the Volvo Owners Club name and logo on it along with "Scottish Section" and web address.

There is some money (no much..) sitting in the Scottish club account at the moment, which will pay for that, however much they are, what's left over, plus any donations, will go towards the Gazebo and other bits and bobs, which will benefit the section.

Means we have somewhere to go when it rains, so we'll get good use out of it, plus it will be at most of the larger events (a few still to come )
