Default Car running again, Info may help others! Ecm-1213!

So I had ecm-1213 error on my 07 s40 2.0d
Car would turn over but not start.
Had ecm cloned as garage said bad ecm and still same.
In a last ditch effort I decided to test the injectors again myself. Garage were so sure they were all fine.
Resistance was fine on all across pins as well as voltage test etc until I got to the last injector on the insulation test and lowe and behold it was shorted to the body!
Swapped it out and the car fired up instantly!
5 weeks, a lot of stress and a fair bit of money and it was one injector.
Injectors don't need coding as long as the class is the same, coded mine but was fine without.
Make sure you change with same class, it's the single number on top, usually 5 or 6.
One bad injector will throw ecm-1213 and look like a spiked ecm or faulty immobiliser!
So well worth a check, get a VOM multimeter and test between the 2 pins on k0hms, should be around 190-200, then touch the pins and body of injector under the part where it plugs in, silver bit, should have no reading at all, if any resistance is read or it goes to 000 then it's dead and that's you're problem.
Could save someone a lot of time and money!

So next step is abs module reflow/solder, just need to figure out how to get it out and then back in and bleed etc and can't find any videos or writeups on my model.

Default Thank you!

I just want to give a massive thanks for saving our family vacation! 2 days before leaving, kids super excited! The car didn't want to start... Turned out one injector was defect!
So thank you so incredibly much! We are extremely grateful!
