23My V60 T6 vs S60 T8 Recharge - Remap

After having my order for a v60 polestar engineered (455) cancelled I have just placed an order for a T6 recharge V60 which uses the same single turbo & 18,8kw battery as the S60 T8, no idea why Volvo don't do a T8 V60 ?!?!

Anyway would it be possible to remap the car when it arrives with the same map as the T8 or previous polestar engineered car i had on order as the engine is exactly the same?

When did you place the order for the Polestar? I've heard of another V60 Polestar order being cancelled from my dealer.

It seems its the V60's that are being cancelled, I've got an S60 PE on order since October and they're saying mine will definitely be built

Are you sure the T6 engine code is the same as the T8 models? i really doubt it is

Mine was ordered 13th October but definitely has been cancelled which was sooo annoying

the older T6 & T8 may have differed , but the new single turbo with the 18.8kw battery the ICE are identical just the T6 has been detuned

I had a V60 (not a polestar) on order they cancelled. I get on well with my dealer and they were quite honest. The reason this has happened is Volvo have stopped doing the polestar models as of November 1st. They only have X amount of build slots available up until the cut off for manufacture of the MY2023s begin and these slots were over subscribed. The slots will be based on popularity of that model and the V60 seems to be a lot more popular than the S60. If howmanyleft.com is to be believed, there is only circa 40 S60 polestar engineered on the road so obviously not that popular!

Fair enough I’m happy driving a rare car I’ve got my build slot so mine in 100% coming according to my dealer.
