Default Sidelight problems

Hi all, I have recently bought a V70 r-design and have a problem with my front sidelights not working, I have tried several bulbs and still nothing, rear lights and number plate lights work, I can't seem to find any fuses for sidelights

Yes, what was posted above is for the previous model.

I don't have the 2009 wiring diagrams here, but in 2010, the position lights are driven directly by the CEM. No conventional fuse.

By sidelights, are you referring to the yellow light outside the turn indicator in the front light housing? The yellow light that's clearly visible in this picture?

Do the white position lights in the center of the light housing work?

Ah, you are referring to the position lights. Well, then my previous post was spot on.
Does your car have the side lights too? If so, do they work?

Ok thanks, on the connector on the back of the light, which are the wires for the position lights so I can check power is getting as far as the connector

I know this sounds silly but are you checking the right bulb? The side marker bulbs are really common to blow as they're on all the time. They're right on the edge of the headlight - much further round than you think? Mine were gone too and I at first thought the bulb was the indicator bulb, it looks to be in the right location but isn't!

Yes definitely sure, it's the 501 bulb in the middle, not working on either side
