Default 850 parts

Having sold my 850R I’ve a couple of parts for sale.

RICA 304 ECU for a manual 850. I ran this on my 850R and liked it. My car had an updated exhaust only so I doubt the final output was anything like 304 bhp but the gain was noticeable. The car drove as with a normal ECU except when I went up the rev range past 2,500rpm in 2nd or 3rd gear when the additional performance was noticeable. Consequently I could choose when to use the additional performance. Affordable performance gain, £100 posted.

Bosch blue injectors. I bought these but never used them. The spray pattern was checked before I bought them and is believed to be as expected. £75 posted.

Five Volvo branded spark plugs (for some reason I have cut the original packaging in half!). £15 posted.

Thanks.

Do you know if the RICA 304 can be used on an auto? I have a RICA 280 in the garage and would like to see what the difference is between them if it'll run safely on an auto.

Do you have the original sales receipt so that I can be assured that it is an unmodified RICA map?

Thanks

Sorry, I have no knowledge about specifics regarding auto / manual for these RICA maps. I bought the ECU secondhand and so cannot verify it’s history.

Thanks Gonzo, I'll give it a miss then - I have the RICA280 to play with so no point risking it. Thanks for being honest about it.

All the best Sam

Hi there,

I'll buy the spark plugs off you, assuming they should be ok for my lesser T-5.

Thank you,

Joe

This was the ECU I supplied to the op.

This ecu is only suited to the manual and not auto

Hope that helps
