Heater control valve vacuum pipes
Hi all!
It's been a long time but I am trying to figure out where this rogue nylon vacuum pipe connects to, I have fitted the nylon one with the 90 degree boot to the heater control valve but just not sure where this one goes? 20220115_140200.jpg Cheers Roger |

Forgot to say,
If someone can confirm which way the coolant hoses from the matrix to the head and control valve go that would be brilliant, I thought it was from the hard pipe which is red from the water pump goes into the control valve and the other pipe from the matrix goes straight to the head under the inlet manifold? The heater control valve hose goes from the heater matrix (I think the bottom outlet) to the valve and the other side of the valve goes to the stub under the inlet manifold. |

Hi 360beast!,
Cheers for the reply, The lower heater matrix hose is the one with the heater control valve, so I presume as you said that will go to the red hard pipe, And the upper matrix hose from the bulkhead goes straight to the head then. It's been a long time since I have touched this car so everything is a bit vague now! I guess you would not know where that rogue nylon line goes? This was a aircon car but that has been deleted now, again its been a long time so just trying to piece a few item locations. Cheers Roger |

The nylon hose would go in to a rubber union which I believe then goes off to the inlet manifold. |

Superb! Cheers for the help, got it sorted now, I have a aftermarket inlet so I ended tapping a 1/8 npt with a push on coupler for the inlet manifold and connected that line back up.
Much appreciated for the help! Cheers Roger |
