I can't quite see on the photos. Can you find any part numbers on the metal or on stickers?

Thanks for the prompt reply- The existing lock has a number on (label) but I'm sure it has rubbed off due to all the handling- Still on the car though so I could take a look if required.
I've done a lot of repairs to this to include new copper plate in the motor- packing on the micro switch- worked for some time but the door button still drops a little so has to be held up with the key to open.
It was ok on the remote for a few weeks but has stopped on lock button- works
fine on key with the exception of the button as above.

Do you have any photos for comparisons?

Hi Bob

I have some right front door locks:
8626234
and also a
9203912 which I believed has been superceded by 8626282

They look very similar/identical.

At the moment I don't understand the difference between 8626234 and 8626282 and 8628224

I also have a believed-good RF lock which is still on a 1999, but I haven't taken it off the car so I cannot easily check numbers if any.
