Default ABS Problem or normal but wired thing... ????

I got Volvo S40 1.9TD 1999. I have problem while breaking. Now it's winter but I still got the Summer tires. While breaking the break pedal is like .. shaking and feedbacks I can here the soung like .. grinding. It happens from time to time it doesn't depend on speed or the surface .. even if the road is quite dry and I drive slowly it happens. It seems like working ABS but it happens even then when it (in my opinion) does not need to. Is it the problem with ABS sensor?? or maybe it occures due to the summer tires..

Can anybody help me??
