My deal includes the R-Design spec with Onyx Black paint and front park assist (so I'd said to delete that if I take the 360 cam).

It'll be the biggest car I've had (next biggest would be a 2000 5-Series) and my concern would mainly be multi-storey car parks and when I fairly regularly have to go to city centres with tight on road parking. I know the 360 would be handy for that but not essential at all, the front sensors should cover it, although it's such a long car I'd have to be wary about scraping the sides on tight maneuvers!

I think part of it is coming from my Skoda Yeti where I have the top spec, it has all the toys included heated seats, front window, all-round sensors, self-parking etc etc and it would be the one new toy I don't already have as much as being useful! But financially it doesn't make a great deal of sense really, just a cool toy I guess, but a £900 (extra) one! That's why I'm 50/50 on it mostly, the longer I drag it out the nearer it comes to getting too late anyway so I'll probably just dither until then!
What mileage at that very good price?

10k P/A, quite a hefty 19.5ppm if I go over that so I'll have to take the wife's car for hols I think!

I often have to negotiate narrow multi-storey car parks with high concrete walls on the ramps, covered in a multitude of paint colours. Some of London's underground/basement ones are pretty tight in the S90. Hell, they are probably pretty tight in a Smart car given the amount of paint marks on them.

However, I do not use the 360° camera for these, just the sensors. And I have managed not to scrape anything yet

Where I do use the 360° camera is pulling into parking bays to line myself up at the sides and front/rear. The S90 is a big car, and I find the 360° view fantastic for this.

That's my 2-peneth. I wouldn't be too bothered about the 360° camera in tight/narrow/twisty car-parks, the sensors should keep you safe there (and probably drive you insane in some of the tighter car parks
I ended up leaving it to the last minute before my "lock-in" and dithered for a while before pressing send on the email to add the cameras - felt buyer's remorse half the day, then was told I'd missed the window, then decided I wanted them again.

I think as you say, the front sensors preferable in some situations anyway (very poor they're not standard or at least part of camera pack I think!), so I won't feel too bad about not getting the 360, it'll help me justify spending the "saved" money on the new iPhone or something...

I'm sure you will enjoy the car, and whatever present you get yourself with the "saved" money
