940 diff oil drain and type
Hi
Think we are going for this new 940 I really want to do all the drivetrain oils though. No drain plug so what's the best way to get all the oil out of the diff? And im guessing the gearbox is standard so has drain and fill? Also do people run the original mineral or synthetics? Thanks Mick

The bottom middle bolt is the drain plug.
You will need to buy two litres of this https://www.eurocarparts.com/search/...xoC9oMQAvD_BwE It will take around 1.6 litres |

Couple of helpful ideas for refilling :
Funnel in the fuel pump access panel, hose on the funnel to the diff fill plug. Makes life much easier!

My diff is a 1031 so book says 1.75L. I let it drain for quite a while and I wasn't far off that going back in
