My XC90 is doing this too. 07 plate 145K miles.
It almost feels like its not going to start. Only does it when cold though. I could switch it straight off and it will start perfectly. No white smoke from the exhaust either. If it is the injectors, is it an expensive job to fix? |

If you do a leak off test ( plenty of vids on youtube) you will quickly identify if one or more injectors is leaking back too much. If so, it would be worth trying a good secondhand one ( Euro4 in your case ) and these are usually available for around £25-35 . Certainly a DIY job to replace .

Hi Johnboyzx10, did replacing the glow plugs solve the slow starting issue for you?
