I think you might struggle in your search though. I've had an Ebay search for the diesels, and over about 2 years i've seen one saloon - a red 940 saloon which had done 530,000 miles.

Yes I know.... :-( Its esp disappointing when I had a mint car. All had to go to buy a house, I hoave the house now so diesel has to return.... :-)

Didn't realise you sold it to buy a house! Do you still know where your white 940 is? Could always offer to buy it back!

Yep.....all the toys had to go to get the deposit together in order for me to get the house.....it was the right decision really. The guy is based in Norfolk and is not on the forums, I asked when I sold it to him. Id love to have it back......could it be tracked down?

I think you can contact the DVLA and providing you have a good reason they will either give you an address, or possibly send a letter on your behalf to the current owner.
