‘59 Volvo C30 limo mode after draining tank
Hi
We ran our c30 for a short time on v low fuel so we could drain the tank for a ‘clear out’ (bought the car 3 months ago) Tank was drained yesterday then had to have our mechanic help us start it again as it didn’t want to know (obv after putting diesel in) Its now gone into limp mode I have done some research into DPF - unsure if ours has one, but read that having low fuel is not good with having a DPF 🤭 Have we caused it some damage by doing what we’ve done, and how do we fix this limp mode Should we tank it and run it down the motorway in the hope regenerates itself? (IF this is the problem causing the limp mode)! |

You need to plug it in to find out why its gone into limp mode otherwise you are shooting in the dark.
Out of interest why did you drain the tank? I'm guessing you fully primed the system after you emptied it.
