What's that got to do with a socket not working or have i missed summat.

People where talking about the probable cause( something dropping in to cause a short). The plug was suggested as a possible fix.

I don't see how plugging the socket will get it to work.

It wont help to get it to work, but will prevent the reoccurrence of the fault IF the blown fuse was caused by something shorting in the socket.

Hi all,
Cheers for the responses, much appreciated. I'll try replacing the fuse and report back. Might take me a few days with Christmas being upon us as I'm not sure the missus will appreciate me disappearing for a couple of hours to change a fuse Thing is, if it's a blown fuse, why does the manual seem to infer the rear and front come off the same fuse? See attached screenshots. I'll definitely be purchasing a blanking plug, very good idea!
