Where is this hose? I have noticed a hose with a swaged end disconnected below/behind the air filter area. I can see where it goes on but being a swaged end I can't push it back on. Is this the powerpulse hose? V90CC D5

Anyone got/got access to a copy of the TJ relating to the Powerpulse hose replacement? Just that car's been in for a service today and they've noticed air escaping from the PP hose - can't say I noticed it mind - just trying to prep myself for the (assume inevitable) discussions tomorrow over payment!

My dealer service manager rang me to ask me to book my XC90 in at my convenience to get the PP hose changed and an EGR bracket mod, loan car was waiting for me when I took my car in and all done the same day. They also updated Sensus at same time to Sensus 2. My second service is due next week and I think the next Sensus update will be caried out then (to add start up check list in driver display) |

Yeah cheers for that - car is still under warranty (18 months old) but just fancied a bit more info to wave under their noses. Maybe I'm being too negative but having to deal with JLR insanity before I came to Volvo I'm a bit jaundiced!

All sorted under warranty so hope they've done it properly! Don't know as yet because I can't get back to pick it up until tomorrow morning - as they need the XC90 Inscription they gave me as a loaner for a demo first thing they're driving mine back now - only 35 miles or so so fair play to them a) for giving me a loaner 90 and b) for delivering it back unprompted. That's decent service and a step up from my experiences with JLR

It normally leaks at gearbox if you get a torch you can easily see hose adrift wether old style hose or new one that's where they leak
It then runs under radiator to osf pain in back side to replace as is egr bracket Regards |
