V70 ECU FAULT. How to sort the problem?
At a loss here guys. Hoping to get some help.
After a fuel filter change my car wouldn't start. There was a fault code of P060649 internal electrical fault. I bought a second hand ECU from ebay and sent it to volvo diagnostics with my original for a software transfer. The new-to-me ECU was put back on the car. Still won't start but it now has 3 electrical faults: 1. ECM wake up signal, general electrical faults, circuit open/short to battery. 2. Positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heater, general electrical faults, circuit open/short to ground. 3. Light switch module, bus signal/message faults, message missing. Does anyone have any idea what is happening. Garage made me send off diesel injectors to be refurbed £150 in total. Didn't do anything. Second hand ECU £60. ECU data transfer £100 with postage. Costs are adding up and none of it is solving my issue. |

Can you clear the codes, get the battery fully charged, put it back in the car and try again?

Clear codes did nothing. Battery is older then 3 years.
Isn't the strongest but had a jump start booster thing on too and didn't make a difference. It's going to an auto electricians on Tuesday. Hopefully they sort it out. |
