R-Design Splitters
Hi guys,
Had my 07 Plate S40 SE since October now and naturally being at the age of 21 I would like to get it looking a little more sportier, not ott though like my younger 'saxo' driving generation do. I am wondering if anyone knows of any front and rear splitters and side skirts from an R-design S40 that are going spare? Have been scouting ebay for a while now and cannot seem to find just the splitters, and I do not want to buy full front and rear bumpers just for the splitters! They don't have to be the same colour as mine as I know a good bodyshop near me, but would be perfect if they were! |

I'm guessing that your car is the pre 2008 face-lift?
The spoilers on this model would be called Sport as R-Design came in later. Side skirts are the same between Sport and R-Design but the bumper splitters are different.

no, mine is the facelift S40 was registered in late 07 as it has the full one piece grill at the bottom of the front bumper and revised headlights etc. At least im sure it is the facelift one.... it doesnt look like the older shape. As im new to this forum malarky I havent worked out how to upload photos, otherwise I would take some of it and post on here!
It was an ex lease car from Lex Hire via IBM in Portsmouth, was a good price to say it had only done 60,000 miles when I bought her in October of last year. Shes also reasonable to insure for a 21 year old compared to my last car anyway! Dont really want any cheap replica stuff either, my view is if im going to do it I use genuine OEM parts to make it look as much an original R-Design as I can do! |
