T5 conversion on a 960 - Page 7

Apologies i was rounding the numbers off and missed a T or 2 was it a b6284t/2,b6294t2,b6304t2???lol, i know full well it wasnt from a 960,,i tend to be blase with numbers,unless engine/box building ,lol,the link was just a half hearted link im sure the serious would delve deeper.

While on this subject anyone remember the year when they were experimenting with the twin turboed straight six in the 960 from years back,,,dont have the link or docs anymore.

Found it 1991 ish also tested in a 760(i use foxit reader if any issues)

This thread reminds me of a friend who claimed he had a garage put a T5 engine in his 945, so I was quite excited to see it, when he opened the bonnet, I didn't know what to say, as sitting there was the normal turbocharged B230 engine.
So I just kept quiet and told him it sounded good, which it did. (I find it hard to lie, so I just look for an appropriate truth instead, great with unwanted Chritsmas presents also).
Hope he didn't pay much, I didn't ask...
