Default C70 upper engine mount bush

Can anyone tell me if the upper engine mount bush center pin sits in the middle of the housing at rest, just about to fit the upgraded version but the engine mount looks like it's sitting slightly forward (unsure if this is just wear on the rubber bush), and do I need to support the engine when I remove it ?

Hi there, you shouldn't need to support the engine, but you will need to press the new bush in.

Thanks for that... Changed it today for a Polly one thinking that my original one was still O.k but found (even with just 60k on the clock) it had nearly split all round which didn't show when in situ.....Glad I changed it now !
