06 C70 SE LUX T5 Reluctant Sale
Volvo C70 T5 SE Lux Nav
2006 - 108k miles - Good Condition 60k miles as owner Celestial Blue with Cream Leather..best combo colour. 18” Alloys with Good Tyres (Feb 2020) including full computer balance. Sadly one 18”alloy has a crack so at the moment I have a pair of 17” Alloys which I use for the winter, balanced to fit front. Original Fold down Volvo Windbreaker with original storage bag, this is a game changer. Dolby Pro Logic top of the range Dynaudio (best ever sound exp, over 900 watts) includes 6 cd changer, Sat Nav, Winter Pack Comms Pack Auto Dim Rear Mirror Bi Xenon lighting, bulbs replaced recently New front brake discs Feb 2020 along with Firestone tyres. approx 3k miles Auto Petrol, 90% own mileage has been ran on Premium Super Unleaded. The rest was because unavailable at the time, Phone Ready - requires sim, currently Vodafone. Recent new battery (not cheap!!) Tip- keep an eye on any signs of a failing battery, this took out main fuse when trying to jump start. New alternator Replacement parts or refurbished - Drivers Door Window regulator refurbished. Rusty cables, I expect this on an old escort but not in a Volvo! Bad design flaw for Volvo. Refurbished Instrument cluster, reprogrammed to correct mileage. Reason info section gave up the ghost. All electrics work, roof serviced every year along with all seals which have been silicone cleaned. Original sale documents including check brochure - £40k Bad bits - Petrol cap not working, suspect solenoid. Easy opening from inside boot. 18” alloys will need refurb, reflects on the price. Rear cat back starting to look tired Good Bits - Everything else It will have a full mot, current one expires mid August. Overview I have owned this car for quite a few years and like a good marriage I have had the odd bad day with it but so many good days. It has been a mainstay commuter car for 60k miles (I now have a 2017 V40 D4 RDesign Pro) I have enjoyed great drives with the roof down in my native Yorkshire so It will be a glum day to see it go. But the sale will be going towards a mid life biker dream, resurrecting a very missed youth! If it wasn’t for the fact the sale is part of a deal I have with my dear lady I would keep it for that odd weekend summer drive up. However, a bike out trumps. C70 is a great cruiser and with the roof down and windbreaker (which folds down into its own bag) it transforms to the point ‘70’ plus is not a problem in the cab, oh and with the winter pack it’s a dream drive in the winter sun, fully heated seats is the way (back & backside) 5 degrees not a problem. Thank you for reading and I apologise for going on but I wanted to be as honest as possible. £2500 ono consider part ex for motorcycle Photos to follow |

Hi, looking for a nice C70 auto, ideally a diesel, and slightly later but interested in a well maintained car first. Only thing is I was going to use it for commuting - whats the MPG like on the T5??
Can't send you a PM yet until I get 30 messages, but drop me a reply when you get chance. |

Hi Tim
The car is located in Yorkshire and I’ve done many trips to Manchester. Mpg on a good commute returns average 28mpg. Photos will be posted later today Cheers |
