Default 855 t5 lambda light still on

Ok, Took maf sensor connector off, forgot to put back on.

Started car lamdba light came on. obviously reconected maf.
Disconnected battery for 9 hrs over night to reset light.
Reconnected battery and the light is still on!

My car is a 1994 manual obd1, but it is running a ecu from a 1995 car auto with a obd2 system.

Is this why disconecting the battery is not reseting the light?
