Default Charging port flap door

I have a V90 T6 recharge (MY22, acquired in November 2021), and recently I have noticed that it is becoming more and more difficult to open and close the flap door of the charging port. Numerous attempts, and significant force when pushing are needed (enough to cause the plastic to bend under the pressure).
Essentially, it looks like the mechanism is starting failing… has anybody experienced the same issue or is aware of this being a recognised problem?
The car is booked for the “shark fin” antenna recall next week, so I will ask to check the door flap, but I wanted to know if this is a reported issue. Thanks in advance

I can't recall this problem being mentioned on the forum before now.

MY22 XC60 T6 Recharge here and mine is the same. I think it’s just a cheap open/close mechanism. You have to push it in just the right place otherwise it won’t shut.

I just punch mine in the right spot with my palm and it opens/closes fine, but pushing gently is a waste of time
