Hi Brynogwy, I have been watching this thread with some interest. Have you made any progress yet? The conversion is actually not that complex once you get your head around it. I am not a proffesional lpg installer, but am a time served mechanic with some experience of lpg conversions, including the 2 litre non turbo, 2.3 litre turbo and many other makes of car. There are plenty of people out there willing to help, so don't give up and post any questions you have.

Hi Dave and thanks for the offer, luckily classicswede’s father has sent me an instruction guide and has also offered to answer any questions I may have. That’s not to say I may not need your help though.
Thanks again. Hi MikeB, Sorry to hear you have been unwell, any pics will help, as they say “ a picture is as good as a thousand words” especially on an identical model. Look forward to hearing from you. |

I'm not going to give up on you but any advice you want will now need to be through this thread on the forum. Perhaps a good start would be if you list out what parts or connections you now need help/advice with so you can move on and get the system installed safely and working correctly. Regards Dai |

Great idea, lets start from my last request
Sent: Sat, 14 Aug 2010 12:33:30 -0400 (EDT) I am now ready to attack the electrics. I’ve listed all I see, so by using the numbers ie 3 goes to 13 etc I think this would be the easiest for me to understand. I also need to know where it should connect to get the initial feed required. Tank Gauge Green 1 Black 2 Tank Solenoid Red 3 Black 4 Dash Gauge Blue 5 Yell & Green 6 Brown 7 Green 8 Purple 9 Red 10 5 Pin Relay 30 11 85 12 86 13 87 14 87a 15 Vap Solenoid + 16 - 17 Cut off Solenoid + 18 - 19 |
