Good luck with the sale
Seen pics of your car before and the attention to detail is mind blowing Wish I had a garage to tinker in Have you got another car to replace it with?

Re: your 460
It's a lovely car Jeff, and considering the controversy we had recently with the owner of the alleged no.1 480 Celebration, a sensible price for a car with a mammoth public history. I hope, if it sells, that it goes to a good home.
Best of luck. Cheers, T p.s. I do hope you're not abandoning the fold?

Re: Best 400 in the country
Quote:
Frankly Jeff, it's probably the best 400 series period - possibly excepting one or two 480s that are in seriously covetable condition Certainly the best saloon/hatch type I've seen. I am seriously surprised it didn't reach reserve. Good luck again, this time around. What's next on the buying list, Jeff? Cheers, T

Seen a nice 144 for sale or even a nice rover p6, it will be from 1960/70 if possible, to match my 1965 trailer tent.

Re: next car

P6 is a nice car, another I've always had an inkling for but haven't driven or even sat in! All I really know is the headmaster at school used to drive one, and when sent for something from the boot, I could never get the damned thing to close! I'm told the pick of the early ones is the 2000TC, or original 3500 after that they cut back on the quality of the interior fittings. Cheers, T
