Lots of early 240 parts for sale. Headlight, grille, e.t.c.
Hi all,
Due to an impending house move I need to have a good clearout. I broke up a 1979 244 a while ago as I was going to convert my 1991 240 to an early spec, unfortunately this never happened and now I need the space and the parts need to go. I have the front and rear bumpers (large bumper style) Square headlights and indicators Grille to match the above Side trims Chrome hubcaps Wingmirrors Estate rear lights I also have a few other bits, I will have to have a dig about. Offers on any of the above, I don't want much for it, would just like it to be used. Postage may be possible but I would prefer collection I am also thinking of selling my 1991 240 estate as I just fancy a change. I will post another ad for that in due course.

SOrry Tim, On second thoughts the squares are not the ones I'm looking for. I meant the round ones with the long grill to give it a nice old school look.
Estate rearlights and front indicators have my interest but would reckon you keep it as a set! Still awaiting the picture you w're going to send? BR Joseph |

Hi All, binned some of this today, headlights and side trims gone.
Pics to follow, sorry for the delay, but the towbar is an original Volvo tubular type one with the tow ball extension that looks like a piece of scaffolding with a ball welded onto it. It has the early type bolt pattern and is different to the later type Volvo tow bars.

What I need is the ball and plate assembly. I have a towbar on the car, but the ball and plate are missing!
I'm in southern Ireland, so postage could be scary!! |

I'm prepared to send the ball section to the Republic and scrap the rest if that's the only part you need. I'll look up the postage charges and let you know.
*edit* here's the towball, it comes with the mounting bolts too. A very hefty piece of kit! Just did a quick quote on postage at it will be £20 to Ireland and i'd like £10 for the ball, so £30 all in if that is of any interest?

Are the wing mirrors chrome ones or black plastic? I'm after some chromes! I also want the front bumper too but postage would make it stupidly expensive!
