Default Alutec Winter Wheels / Tyres - West Lothian

I have a set of Alutec Grip Graphite wheels with winter tyres to sell due to the purchase of a new model XC90.

I have used these on a 2010 XC90 for four winters.

The wheels are 17 inch and the tyres are Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtreme 235/65/R17

The treads are 4-6 mm.

After each winter the wheels have been cleaned, dried, wrapped and stored in my dry warm garage.

Price: £250.

I'm in West Lothian and can deliver around the local area if required.

They should do but will need spigot rings to reduce hub size as XC90's have bigger hubs

That is right. They came with rings specific to the XC90, you cauld easily swap them.

You can get them here, as an example.

Those are lovely.

If I wasn't in the process of a £5K gearbox rebuild I'd have them in a flash !

Do you find a difference with winter tyres on?

Yes, better stopping. General grip must be better at all times but stopping is the greatest difference. It means your summer wheels are not subjected to the salty roads too. My wife is German and insists on winter tyres. We'll be getting a set for the new car, sadly these ones are too small otherwise I would keep them.
