Default 1969 Red 2 Door

I have a red 2 door 133 that needs finishing and unfortunately I am not going to get it done. The car has had all the welding done bar the rear spare wheel well, a new one is included with the car. The car comes with new trims, rear stainless bumpers and all new chrome. The car also comes with a brand new cream interior and new glass. The B20 engine has been rebuilt and I also fitted an overdrive. I have as an option an original GT steering wheel and new GT dash.

I am looking for 8,000 as this really represents the new parts value. It will make a great car when finished. The car is located in Dublin.

PM me if interested

Just to clarify, the new panels welded into the car include front and rear floor pans(the high quality version) new inner and outer sills(inners were NOS), rear inner and outer wheel arches including fletch panels. New front inner wings and lower side panels. Front panel, bonnet, doors and wings are rust free, including boot lid. Also all new suspension has been fitted. All new rubber seals included. The GT wheel comes with a new horn button.

Regards

That looks like a excellent project. If you fancy selling the old or new interior separately I'd be interested.

A few more pics https://www.donedeal.ie/vintagecars-...-1969/31549167

Also I realise with exchange rate the price is actually 7,000 pounds, so even more of a bargain
Thanks

That link didn't seem to work properly JP, but I did a search and found your ad. I think this link should work:

Good fortune with the sale - it looks like a good motor car.

I thought I would update this. I have decided to keep the car in the end as when I looked over the work done I would be hard pressed to find another one like that in the future. Also since I know the work was done to a high standard, this Amazon was hiding no surprises. As with any car sale I had a lot of low ball offers and time wasters who did not realise the value of the project.

I have got the car back from the paint shop and I am pleased with the results. I will post some pictures later.

Took a picture this evening, the car is dusty so I need to clean it down at some stage. Also apologies, the garage is a mess and I need to do a clear out. I also got the rear seat recovered today and is was a straight forward job. I think I should start a new thread ansd give a regular update on the rebuild.

That's a real good car. Best of luck with it JP. Looking forward to a separate thread on it.
