That certainly is Ivor.

I must confess to a somewhat non-specific interest in railways. My latest focus has been the efforts to rebuild the Lynton & Barnstaple railway in north Devon.

cheers

Volvo drivers and train enthusiasts??? What a sad bunch!

Before the stones get thrown, I've fired a Hall, copper dome et al driven a pannier (more copper domes!!!), and shunted a black five. Maybe... if time allows, I might get involved with the King restoration at Didcot when circumstances change in Oct, which a mates been trying to talk me into for a while. Also do a fair amount of playing on a local miniature railway, my weekend/holiday job was to drive/run the 10 1/4" in my local park.

As to point in hand, looks like I won't be around in September, going to be taking a city rover home to India, see you at the next meet!

yea, theres a few brewsers fayre around there, and a few other pubs i no off, just not many big carparks that are free, other than the uni, that will prolly still be closed then.

we could always go to sainsburys in the middle of stoke, huge carpark there, you have to pay, a pound for an 3 hours, is a weatherspoons there. hrmm...and kind of easy to get to. would be fun to have a fleet of volvos behind me as we drive to that sainsburys. now that would be sight to see!
