Whilst they have no right to the street, people are protective of it and see it as ''their little bit of property''
For people dumping cars in residential areas and floating off for days on end with work with no regard to people living in the street where they have parked, it would be a good idea to knock on a few residents doors, as a matter of courtesy, saying what they intend to do. You never know, that person may say ''park in my drive'' or ''park over my drive'', ''buy us a beer''. Regards |

Car now back from body shop and looking good as new. Got them to sort out a few stone chips whilst it was in. Happy chappy again!

I'm glad to hear it has been repaired!
As much as it irritates me when the Volvo can't be parked right outside our house, I would never go and damage a car that had parked in "our space", because frankly it isn't our space!! Yes, I pay the rent for the house - but that is just it, the HOUSE. The road "belongs" to anybody who pays road tax and is on a first come first serve basis. If a space is free, you can take it.
