Default Engine Service Required & mild Limp Home mode

Guys,
Looking to access the years of problem knowledge.
Have an XC90 MY2005 D5 163bhp (black engine cover) auto with 193K miles on the clock.
Recently serviced.

Issues; On occasion see the message "Soot Filter Full", but after a drive it goes away.
This week have seen the "Engines Service Required" orange triangle message pop up when I reach 30mph and the car goes into what I call mild limp mode, can build speed steadily, but no hard acceleration. Sadly has not turned out to be a day thing and then gone, has repeated for 2 days. In neutral engine revs well, perhaps not as smooth. No smoke blue or black.

Can't get codes checked until Monday unfortunately.
Will be interesting to see what is on the list, I have wondered in the past if the car ECU or wiring had been mucked about with at one time due to spurious messages appear then disappear on restart.

Would love to have your thoughts on anything worth trying in the meantime as I kind of need to use the car on Sunday...
Look forward to hearing from you.

Ken
