Adam, I have a number of Amazon distributors on the shelf in my garage. They are of various types and vintages. Are you interested?

Hi and thank you for your reply
I have been told that the distributor is in need of doing up, probably the springs, but I will get the full information. I will also check the last digits Do you or someone you know rebuild distributors? and if so what sort of cost am I looking at? Thank you for your time Kind regards Jamie |

Oh! I just read your post, Amazonjulian! Yes please!
Jamie, most of the individual components are now obsolete and impossible to source. If the springs and weights have had it, you're better off replacing the whole unit. If you're loaded, then a 123 distributor is an off the shelf, brand new and drop in replacement with various setting that are based on different factory distributors. However, they offer nothing that a standard distributor in good nick doesn't. In my opinion, you're better off sourcing a good old one. If you want to get your distributor rebuilt, I can do it. That's if the thing isn't past it. Unfortunately, I can only really tell if it's salvageable when it's in bits. Best thing is to get back to me with those part numbers, and if it's a suitable distributor for the set up you have there, then shall we take it from there?

I'll check the numbers on them for you Adam. I dug them out the other day. One I'll keep for spare, the remaining two have the one part points and vacuum advance units on
