Default Scrap 940 Estate - I'll pay to have it removed!

I've advertised it so many times...
But no one has even called or come to view.
I have a 1996 2.3LPT on the Isle of Skye, IV43 8QX
It's not complete but all the body panels are there, straight, dusty but straight. The gearbox was good, the engine too but parts removed.
It needs wheels to get it out of the garage and you'll need a trailer or truck, but I need it out of the garage and will actually pay you to come and collect it.
It's on fleabay at present, have a look and give me a call on 07522 586057

if i had a truck id definitely come and pick this up from you. Always wanted to see northern scotland!!

even with your generous offer of paying someone to take it away, i could not financially collect it, as im all the way down in birmingham!

however i imagine someone will take up your offer.

good luck.

You've no idea!
You'd think I was offering them Bubonic Plague

There are two at least companies on the WWW that'll collect, but it has to be complete and on wheels (so it can be loaded I guess).
This hasn't got wheels anymore as they are in my shed 370 miles away from the car with nearly new tyres.
I still have two old steelies that I could take up there if I ever had space in the current car but I still need two more.
If there's anyone up near Skye with some old scrap wheels & tyres, need not be legal, I'll buy them off you to get this damn thing rolling
Thanks Guys

Again.... If I wasn't so far away I would be there today. No local scrap yards able to help?? Most should have acces to a hiab lorry and 4 volvo wheels surely! For a freebie it has to be worth some time and effort

It's still here and I head back to Yorkshire tomorrow.
I tried a couple of national arrangers and could get up to £175 if I trailered it 90 mile or collected free IF it had wheels..
Apparently the collectors over here don't have HIABs.
I have a couple of wheels, need a couple more, any condition, to get it out of the garage.

I might be able to get this moved for you. I have a possibility of taking a car up to Scotland and would only be 150 miles away at that stage.

The local metal recycling firm here uses a skip lorry to collect cars... they had some fun with a 940 estate from me as it was (almost(?) too long!

Hi and thanks for the offer
Trouble is (and without trying to put you off) 150 miles up there is a long way as its not dual carriageway standard. Roads are good but only typical A class roads.
There are a couple of breakers in Inverness, 100 miles away that wouldn't collect, and the national car scrappers have told me that I could get £175 if I took it that 100 miles but no one can collect it without wheels as they pull them onto a trailer or flat wagon rather than HIAB them.
If you ar still interested I will be going back up there before Christmas; when were you heading up there?
Cheers
Tony H
