In short, yes. It does stiffen the car up considerably at the front and helps improve traction. Are you planning on getting the Volvo OEM one?

Hello M D E

I've had a strut brace fitted to my 850 - £85 very well spent. It makes the car feel more solid

Yes, dealers do sell them but may not have them readily in stock. Last time I met with Don Norchi from Kalmar Union (link at top right of this page), he had a couple in hand so it may be worth checking with him too. I don't know where you're based but Don is in London and we are having a Performance Section meet in Uxbridge next Sunday (29th) so please do try to pop by if its possible.

Ive got a volvo one aswell.

very good mod, tightens the front up. with the strut brace and new springs\shocks i get no torque steer from my chipped 850r.

the volvo one is built very well and has to be one of the best on the market and cheapest to. i think i got mine for £75 from a volvo dealer, with it taking a day or 2 to get.

and as its a volvo one you wont have any fitment issues.
