Actually a car like that has been made. Though it was 200-series and built by one Finnish guy. :P I'll try to find the article, I'll put the link later if I'll find it.

Here it is. Article is in Finnish though.

And I remembered wrong, it is built by a Swedish guy. There's no glass fiber used, everything is made out of steel.
