***Wanted V90*** / May consider 960
Hi there ,
I’m writing in hope that someone somewhere might be able to help. My partner and I owned a lovely V90 which was written off in car accident it was such a beautiful car and such a great loss to us both. My partner then decided to try a 960 with LPG conversion but alas a builders van smashed into it whilst parked up on the road overnight. In both cases the insurance companies took us for thousands and refused to pay up only offering a £600 for the 960 when it was written off. Its now 18months on and we are now seeking another preferably V90 or 960 ( manual transmission). We love these cars so much and have given us alot of enjoyment. We live in Devon but being Volvo drivers we are willing to travel / drive the UK to view and would happily discuss in more detail about price etc. So anyone out there is looking to sell either of these we would very happy to talk to you. Thank you for taking the time to read this Rachel |

Are you looking for complete cars or would you consider something needing a small amount of work?

I bought that one, sorry!
Photo0245[1].jpg "Tucker" turned out to be a good-en too, after a little tinkering. Less than can be said about my latest... A 240 which lasted 2 days before blowing it's differential!! Good luck with the search though, glad to hear people love these buses as much as I do. I sometimes speak to a fella who buys and sells Volvos in Leeds, if anything comes up that might interest you I'll let you know. Steve |

Hi Rachel, If you are still looking for a V90/960, I have just put mine up for sale. It is in the 700/900 Sales section.
Kind Regards, Colin |

Hi guys - update
Apolgies for not getting back to anyone quickly work and life stuff has kept us busy.
Thank you for all you kind offers , we eventually found a a little manual!!! 960 called Vincent , he needs some work but we found him relatively cheap £1500. We just had the heater matrix replaced ( today) , my partner has been posting on the tech forums as it was quite an unexpected job to incur we did half of it ourselves which has made it alot cheaper. Vincent now needs some body work fixing scratchs and bumps work done, the leather has come away from the doors as typical for most of the "N" plated 960's, so we need to figure that one out at some point. and most importantly a LPG conversion which is now top of the list . So he will be a project car I will try and upload pictures when i get chance.. I hope one day we can afford / find a manual V90 ( as manual V90's and 960's dont exist lol) but at the moment we hope to restore the little 960 for the time being. Thank you again and im sure you will hear from myself or my partner soon Rachel |
