Other XC90 Problem: Multiple error codes after oil level sensor replacement

Hi everyone, im a new member & also new to forums so apologies if i get any of this wrong.
Im looking for help regarding keeping my 05 xc90 ocean race on the road.
Basically she has many issues according to vida which im trying to resolve 1 by 1.
However the latest issue has developed into a more significant problem.

So last month she flashed up "engine system service required"
Vida read error code ecm-5660 oil level sensor, signal too high.
After checking the oil via dipstick everything seemed normal, so I ordered a new sensor off ebay & had my local garage fit it & do an oil & filter change at the same time.
After collecting the car the message returned as his obd scanner could not reset the codes.
When i plugged in vida again she now has ecm-2A20 particulate trap, ecm-56AA oil sensor, ecm-8420 sensor supply, ecm-2000 engine coolant temp, ecm-2A50 pressure sensor particulate trap.

He put in 6.5 litres of oil as per his volvo guidelines.....vida said oil level @ 130%
So i took her back & he removed 1/2 litre as volvo forum posts suggest 5.4 - 5.7litres & 1/2 - 2/3 on dipstick. Vida now says -18%

Now she is hunting/surging on cold startup & runs with a flat spot/no power at 1500 rpm.
Once warmed up she runs better but still has power issues & the engine fan runs on & off.

Is this an oil overfill issue that has contaminated dpf or other sensors?
Is it possible the oil sensor was faulty?
I am taking her back to the mecanic but he struggles to read volvo codes as some are encrypted. I have given up with the stealaship (€160 per hour to diagnose) hence why i bought a laptop with vida.

My question is does anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed?

i would start by deleting all existing codes reset the oil quality sensor and the counter for the oil service check and clean the oil sensor connector then re start and read the codes again watch some how to use vida vids on you youtube and look at any reoccurring codes and use vida as a diagnostic tool its much more than a code reader any faulty sensors will show in your new code read post back with your findings

When I first got my XC90 I made the 'mistake' of topping up the oil. Some engines have a problem of showing high oil level when the level is normal, Volvo's work around is never to fill the oil level more than 2/3 as shown on the dipstick.

I suspect that you original oil level sensor was OK, not much you can do about that one now but I would remove some oil so it reads about 1/2 on the dipstick.

As suggested, I'd clear all the codes and then go for a good run. From memory, I think there is another known problem with one of the pressure sensors, the connecting pipe gets blocked which shows up as a differential pressure error.
