Default 2014 XC60 D5 MAF Sensor

Evening all, i wonder if anyone could help, my Mass Air flow sensor is reading 3.17 kg/hr when the ignition is on but not running. I have issues with low power, poor mpg. I have checked the boost pipes for splits, none found. I am pretty much convinced that the MAF sensor is faulty. If unplugged car goes like a rocket. Anyone have any ideas why its reading air flow even when engine not running. Thanks
