Hi Hi I’m new to this forum so please be kind 😊 Before anyone says I did post into the XC60 sub group but no ones replied and looks like no one does reply on that group! I would like to buy a Volvo XC60. Would love to buy the newer 2nd Gen 2018 plate onwards model but I can’t afford that… I’m curious which manufacturer supplied the engines for the facelift model 2014 to 2017 - was is Peugeot??? I believe this is when Ford owned Volvo… If it is a Peugeot engine (2016 plate) should I be concerned? I’m thinking of buying a D4 in Auto. Any insights into what spec to buy/avoid etc please? TIA 🙏 |

All Volvo engines in the diesel XC60….
The 2015 my onwards D4 fwd will be the 4 cylinder VEA 2.0, all others (including d4 AWD) are either 2.0 or 2.4 versions of the earlier, and legendary 5 cylinder.
