Impossible to know for sure, but the car have been serviced annually, and if the mechanics did their job it should have all its updates.

In addition, I know the IHU was reinstalled in the process when they swapped out my PHM, as Volvo On Call actually communicates with the unit so I'm fairly sure the IHU has the latest version of the software.

I shall have a closer look at the car next week when I have it here for a few days. Even if your car missed one update it will be brought up to date on the next.

Well I spent some time on this today, and found the answer to my/our "problem" I attach some info from the SUPPLIMENT to the Owner's manual , a separate booklet . so the functions were there all the time ! The owners manual is very detailed built into Sensus, but it does not contain the Supplement where the answer is ...

I attach the page to print out and keep in the glovebox if you want to make use of the Built in Audio Hard Disk Drive in the last of the V60 ( and others 2016-17) before the current ones were introduced.
