These frosty mornings have made me wonder if it's possible to get heated windscreens for 240s. Surprisingly they're obtainable for Morris Minors, though I could never afford one in all the years that I had the Moggie. It would be a really useful modification.

I have never heard of one, but it's the type of thing that might be available in Sweden. Could be worth contacting one of the clubs there.

You shouldnt have a problem defrosting , warm air is delivered through the demist system within a couple of minutes after starting , Just be patient The heating sytem has a huge brass heater radiator , they always self defrosted fast when they were current cars ! I remember Motor Magazine did a heater test in the early 1970's and the 140 was top !( same heater as 240 ) with the next contender a mercedes quite a way behind .
