Question Confused over how many RTI discs I have for XC90

I have an MY06 XC90 with Volvo RTI Sat Nav. I want to update the Navteq discs, and decided to check out what disc is already in the Sat Nav.

I'm now very confused. I have a DVD that holds 3 x discs PART Nos: T1000-9524A-C. Expecting there to be one disc missing (i.e. already loaded), I was surprised to see all 3 discs are present. "What the hell is in the Sat Nav then", I wondered?

I have another disc that seems to show all of Europe on the one disc, rather than spread out over 3 discs. PART No: T1000-8968.

They'are out of date anyway, but I don't know what to order. Navteq's website won't allow me to purchase an updated disc so I suspect I need to go back to the dealers and pay huge amounts for an updated disc .... or 3 ...

Can anybody make any sense of this?

I suspect you have the original disc which covered the whole of Europe, and an upgrade set which breaks down into three discs.
You can just buy the disc that covers UK/Ireland/France/Spain from

www.satnav-updates.com (£39.99)

and other places too, I suspect.
