Default 138.8mpg - its taken me a while

Due to a change in work, I'm actually doing the short(ish) trips that the V60 diesel hybrid suits. It's just averaged 138.8 mpg over a tank, with daily plugging in at home, but nowhere else. I was averaging 70mpg over mixed mileage, but it just shows how electric works for short trips...

Good to see that at least one person who bought a hybrid is trying to use it as it was intended, rather than buying it for the cheaper tax etc.

Yeah, my boss at a previous job had an Outlander PHEV and only got 28 mpg as he just got it for the tax break and never plugged it in.

I just had one as a hire car in Norway and managed around 45 mog which was pretty good as I couldn't plug it in and it didn't have much charge when I picked it up

I am truly driving like Miss Daisy at the moment with £9 a gallon diesel.

I've actually been trying not to drive much more than 25 miles so I can avoid using diesel. Quite sadly, I also found myself driving our Impreza down the dual carriageway at 55mph. Where's the fun it that.

New record for me - 144.9mpg .(No long trips, lots of charging, obviously)

I can also offer a 42.9mpg worst when I deliberately left it in Power more on a bomb up the road to Scotland and back
