V70 Parking light (or Sidelight) failure
Hi,
I have a sidelight which is out on my car (nearside front). Having bought a replacement and installed it, that didn't come on either. So, I swapped it for the working one on the offside - no luck there. I've now put new bulb into the offside and it works. In short, it's not the bulb that's the problem. For clarification - headlights are working fine and I am doing my checking by looking closely into the headlamp rather than standing back and guessing. What's my next move to identify the problem please? Thanks.

I had a similar problem once, turned out a number plate light had blown as well, once I changed it all came good.

Did you have a similar situation too, where no bulb (even brand new) would work in the nearside sidelight?

Fixed
It turns out that the light fuses for these split to individual sides of the car (left and right), rather than front and rear.
Lights are now working and warning message has cleared. Thanks.
