I'm confused..... Valued by VOC in 1993 at £2500. What does a 20 year old valuation tell us?

Regards
Eddy

The value is what it would realistically cost to replace for insurance purpose

I know that, but the valuation is 20 years old, so it means absolutely nothing.... Unless I'm missing something?

Also why would it need fully restoring when only 12 years old? Sounds like a bad car crash repair rather than a restoration.

I saw this on a website for sale last week and asked for photos and the seller couldn't be bothered to email them.
