145DL for sale
I have a 1974 Volvo 145 DL for sale.
The registration is JBN 510N. The car is in very good condition and the mileage is 66,000. The car is garaged and has only been driven for about 2,000 miles in the last 5 years I was looking for £1900. Photos on request Last edited by saturnuranus; Sep 15th, 2008 at 17:53. Reason: Added images |

I was just coming on here to put up a link to a lovely 145 estate on ebay, and it's already here! Here's the link anyway.

145 dl
Erm, hello. I can confirm because I bought it. I know there was a lot of interest and I also know I'm very lucky. Drove it back from Glasgow to Deal (east Kent) last weekend and it drove like a dream. 490 miles and it didn't so much as hiccough. I've been looking for an old Volvo for a long time (been hanging around the Amazon section of these forums for a while) and am dead chuffed with this one. Hope to start making it to meets in the future.

I remember replacing the water pump on it years ago for a previous owner. It was a very nice car then. Best of luck with the new car.

Thanks Jim C. We're enjoying it so far. No plans to change anything, we'll just keep her clean and tidy. Oh, except one thing: does anyone have any advice about fitting rear seatbelts? I've read conflicting things and can't seem to find any old 100/200 series belts for love nor money. Are there universal belts that fit and will I need to add anything in order to fit them? Thanks.

It should certainly have the mounts for belts in the back as my '67 Amazon has them.
If you can't find any Volvo belts, might be worth speaking to this company to get a set made: http://www.quickfitsbs.com/ I haven't used them myself (yet - intending to soon) but had them recommended to me by those that have
